This is a water bottle holder or carrier. It fits the standard 600ml water bottle.
A layer of batting is attached to the outer bag and the bag is lined with towelling. Cord is threaded into the casing and a toggle attached. This bag will keep a cold bottle of water cool all day. The designs are from:
Designs 4 Africa Fruit Designs
and Designs 4 Africa Sunflowersand Potholders 4×4

I am submitting some photos of a design called Patchwork Santa from Teri Sullivan of SewTerific that I did up as stand-alone ornaments in various color combos. You can hang these Santas from the area that is blank near the pompom of Santa’s hat.
This was my own idea and I feel these come out as a rather unique item. Teri is aware that I have done these.
This is sewn with the same thread bobbin and top on organza or other sheer fabric, double thickness, with a background of opaque water soluble stabilizer in the hoop. When done, excess stabilizer is cut away, then the piece is hand washed to dissolve away the excess remaining stabilizer, and then it is carefully trimmed. I did overstitch some areas–my choice. I wanted the ribbon area, etc., sturdy enough to hold up to being cut out all around it.
Here is the ornament sewn onto the organza–it is NOT trimmed yet!
This example is all polyester threads, but other examples have some twister tweed rayons or metallics in them.

Here is the ornament after trimming it:
